Hey New Yorkers! It’s Thursday and we’ve got something extra special up our sleeves today. So you know how it’s already November, right?! Well, that means it’s time for another NYC Doggy Do-Gooder Calendar, woohoo! If you have no idea what we’re talking about then let me explain – at the beginning of each month we post a list of great events to attend around New York City in support of rescue animals. Print it out, write it in your calendar or just keeping re-reading this blog post because there are tons of amazing events and organizations to support in November. We’ll see you out there! *

ASPCA: Adoption Event
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM @ Unleashed by Petco – Brooklyn – Park Slope

Sunday November 9

North Shore Animal League/Sean Casey Animal Rescue: Adoption Event
12:00 PM – 5:00 PM @ Office of Councilman Mark Treyger

Come and meet some of the beauties up for adoption at the Sean Casey Animal Rescue this Sunday at the Offices of Councilman Mark Treyger (2015 Stillwell Avenue, Brooklyn NY). The Good Dog Foundation: 9th Annual Bash at Barneys New York
6:00 PM @ Fred’s Restaurant at Barneys New York

Fred’s Restaurant in Barney’s is hosting the 9th Annual Bash in support of the incredible therapy dogs of The Good Dog Foundation. The Wound and the Gift: A Film About Animal Rescue

Attend the US premier of The Wound and the Gift, a film about rescue animal sanctuaries all over the world and the relationship between a rescue and rescuer. Social Tees Animal Rescue: Stray Pride Night Fall Fundraiser
6:30 PM – 10:30 PM @ B Bar

The annual Stray Pride Night fall fundraiser is happening this month and we’re so excited about it! Enjoy a fun night of prizes, appetizers and animal loving fun at B Bar (4th Street and Bowery).
